Global Warming and many other issues concerning the environment is an issue that Pat takes a great deal in bringing to the governments attention. Pat believes that global warming is the most important crisis that the world is currently facing. Pat wants to raise gas prices in order to pay for research on alternative fuels.
Pat is oppose to citizens bearing firearms without a thorough background check. Pat is also for cracking down hard on all other sorts of gun laws and hopes to being this matter to the attention of the country.
Donnellson wants the federal government to raise the yearly income level at which a family is considered to be in poverty. This way, more people at the lower end of the income spectrum would qualify for transitional assistance. Donnellson also wants to make housing a "right" for all Americans.
Donnellson supports having an open borders policy. He thinks the United States should have no quota system for immigration--anyone who wants to come should be able to.
The lack of available health care insurance for all citizens is a major concern. Individuals would still be able to subscribe to a private health care insurance but any plans would be taxed to help pay for the government plan, according to the government-sponsored health care available for all plan that Donnellson wants to create.
